About

Andy Scott has been creating visual art and music most of his life, cross pollinating the aspects of both crafts, forming his own unique creative process. Picking up a guitar at age 12, he began his education in the Bedroom University of Led Zeppelin, studying anything and everything Jimmy Page. His first bands found inspiration in Nirvana, Metallica and Alice in Chains, performing covers as well as developing original music.

After graduating fro the Art Institute of Pittsburgh in 1998 as a Visual Communications major, Andy started experimenting with audio engineering and production. He moved to Los Angeles in 2001, playing around the LA club scene with the bands Los Blips and Life on the Sun. Throughout the rest of the decade he focused on writing and recording as well as working as a freelance and in-house graphic artist. Andy continues to combine his two passions, art and music, working with local musicians as an audio engineer, graphic artist and as a session musician.
